Luxury on the lake! What a gem. This is by far the very best property we have ever stayed at. The interior decor was gorgeous, comfortable and well stocked. And the exterior was just as beautiful with flowers, green grass, an amazing fire pit (with lots of firewood available)and a screened in porch with hot tub. Unfortunately due to the lake flooding we were not able to access the dock however it didn’t even matter. We were still able to access the lake via the provided kayaks and wow, Caddo lake is amazing. Luke is a wonderful host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend Lil Cast and sincerely hope we can return for a future visit.

Little Cast Cabin is just a perfect beautiful house built and decorated by Luke and Susan who are simply masters at what they do and the location just happens to be located in a little slice of heaven called Lake Caddo!

We arrived a little before 5 PM. We were afforded early check in. Lil Cast presents exactly as described on the website. And more! Luke was nearby, easy to contact, respectful and very easy to talk to. Luke thought of almost everything. He mentioned, “If I think I needed ‘it,’ that the item should be at the cabin.” Luke gave us guidance to several local venues for food and sightseeing. The three of us felt Lil Cast to be one of our top five places to stay. Cabin is an understatement. Lil Cast reminded us of a French cottage. Every space had a cottage decor feel. The artwork was tasteful and well-presented. We found restful sleep on the beds as well as the sofa, used the hot tub daily, found spaces to explore our art forms and gained inspiration in the environment. We came with certain expectations and found them replaced and fulfilled by present reality of April in Caddo Lake. Lil Cast provides the base for a sensational Caddo Lake experience.

What an amazing place! Not only is it in beautiful surroundings (Lake Caddo is incredible!) but the house itself was immaculate and so well decorated and so comfortable too! In fact, I had a difficult time reading in the evenings because I kept dozing off. Coffee on the dock in the mornings is a n experience I will keep with me for some time. And to top it off, Luke is an amazing host! He made everything so effortless. From getting into the house, to suggestions for fishing guides, to restaurants, he was proactive with it all. And he’s a great guy to talk to! My only regret is that my wife could not come with me as this is the perfect house for one or two couples! I can’t wait for the next time, and I will be bringing my wife, Lord knows, after she saw the pictures there is no way she is staying home! PS: Thanks again for everything Luke!
