Jen's rental was wonderful! The picturesque view was just what we were looking for, it was peaceful. It's a short distance from historic Jefferson, TX, a cute town with plenty of stores for antiquing, cute boutiques, and good food. The rain hindered our outdoor activities but had a thunderstorm not rolled in we would've taken full advantage of the canoes that were provided. Instead of outdoor activities we played uno, listened to the records provided by our host, and laughed at each other... great memories! Our stay was amazing!

The house is great. There was a flood during our stay, so no boat rides or kayak rentals were possible. The canoes available at the cabin saved our experience. The only thing that took away from the experience was that the lights of the back deck were not working. We had to do a barbecue in the dark. The hosts are responsive, but we still couldn't get the lights to work.

This place is so cool! The views are amazing first of all. Huge wall of windows to just sit and gaze at the beautiful lake, trees adorning Spanish moss, little song birds hopping around in the trees, it’s so relaxing. This place has so many little touches. Keurig Coffee maker on both floors with a good selection of coffees, hot cocoa. The decor is great. Jenny is a wonderful host and on top of everything. Would love to stay here again one day!

There is something magical about Jen’s place. We are not really lake people and just fell in love with lake life while staying here. My daughter saw a sign in the home that said “Lake life is the best life” and claimed it to be true! When you can sit in a hot tub overlooking the beautiful lake scenery, it doesn’t get much better than that! The home was gorgeous - I loved the decor and the layout was so cool. The view from the family room was amazing as well. Lastly, Jen thought of the little extras - stocked snacks and not one, but two coffee stations. If we’re ever in the area, we will be back for sure!!!
