If you want a peaceful, private spot- you found it! Our lovely home , built in 1892 is located on Roanoke Island . Just minutes from downtown Manteo. You can get there either on foot or on one of the bikes we provide. Surrounded by trees and beautiful gardens , feel free to wander and listen to the birds sing. You will be staying in an attached apartment behind our house. The apartment has one bedroom, living room, bathroom ( shower only) and an equipped kitchen. Due to local restrictions we can not have a stove. However we do supply a combo microwave, convection oven and air fryer, along with a hot water kettle, toaster, hot plate and out side grill. If anything else is needed we will gladly supply it.

The Loft was absolutely perfect for me! Lisa’s lot has absolutely gorgeous gardens and easy to find parking and access. The Loft itself was clean and the sheets and blankets were incredibly soft. Everything was as pictured and Lisa couldn’t have been a more lovely host!
Charming... Lisa had spices for cooking...who has that, terrific. Lisa had a hair dryer and a hair diffuser...who has that, awesome! Although the main house was right there it certainly felt very private. We had a terrific time and would definitely come back again.
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend in Manteo. The Loft was perfect for the 2 of us. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved that it was tucked back in Lisa’s gardens surrounded by trees and foliage. Lisa was very helpful in helping us find a place to eat Thanksgiving dinner, as well as, other fun things to do while we were there. Thank you, Lisa!
Great location! Walkable to downtown, Lisa also provided bicycles!
We gad a wonderful stay. The Loft was very private and clean. We really enjoyed how close it was to everything.

Located in a safe neighborhood. A few minutes walking or riding ( on bikes we provide) distance to downtown Manteo. We are 15 minutes from the beach. And Manteo highschool is right behind us. We find tennis balls in our yard ofter!
After a day at the beach or some fabulous shopping in Manteo come and relax in our gardens.
You can use the bikes we provide or take a leisurely walk to downtown Manteo. Manteo hosts many wonderful outdoor concerts. You will have your own space to park in our driveway.

We have 7 grandchildren and absolutely love being able to be with them ( and our children) . We love to spend time in our gardens with our grandchildren, our two little dogs and our cat.
