We had a great time at Linda's Cabin #3. It was my son, his friend, and me. The two boys are 13 and are bigtime railfans - - they loves trains. The cabin is a railfanner's paradise. It is right across the street from the Folkston Funnel railway viewing platform. We arrived at about 2pm on Tuesday, Dec. 26th and by the end of our second day, my son said they had seen 42 trains. Mostly really long freight trains pulled by CSX locomotives and AmTrak trains. It was a great railfan trip. Linda's cabin was very comfortable. It can be tough to sleep because trains are passing close by and their horns are extremely loud. They blow them really close to the cabin because of the nearby road crossings. But... a train horn is music to a railfanner's ears. The kids didn't mind. There is a coffee shop, some restaurants (Thai/Sushi, Mexican, and BBQ) you can walk to. And a McDonalds and Circle K. We had a great stay and will stay here again. Thanks, Linda.

Great place right on the tracks for railfanning. Just as described. Linda very responsive to questions I had. Walkable to a couple nearby restaurants. Definate recommended if you live trains!

Perfect stay at Linda’s cabin as usual! We love to watch the trains and use the cabin as a getaway to reset from our busy daily life. I work remotely and it’s great to be able to go to the cabin to have an office with better scenery than home. Convenience store, coffee shop, Dairy Queen all in walking distance. Thanks for another wonderful stay!
