The cottage lived up to write ups,there was everything we needed and more.Place was welcoming from the moment we walked in. Really nice cheerful decor, Nice rear garden to sit in .A nice food hamper for us on arrival Clear instructions, nice short walk to the beach and dunes and into Seahouses Plenty of places close by to Visit If returning to Seahouses we would definitely stay at the Laughing Seagull.

Had a fantastic week in Julia's cottage! We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived with a hamper and treats for our pooch. The cottage was cosy, warm, really clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen contained all the equipment we needed along with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The cottage is in a good location with short walks to both the beach and the centre of Seahouses. We visited a number of places during our week - gorgeous beaches and little villages. This was our first visit to Northumberland and we will definitely be returning; we would highly recommend Julia's cottage for a stay here.

Lovely cosy cottage, beautiful place. Julia provided everything we could have needed - welcome basket, treats for our dog, games for rainy days. Very convenient location and we did lots of sight-seeing (lindisfarne, alniwck, bamburgh, inner farne) and beach walks nearby. We played lots of games from the house on the rainy days and in the good weather we loved dinners in the sunny conservatory. The house was spacious, with comfy beds, great shower, everything we needed in the kitchen.

Julia was a lovely and welcoming host. Check in was seamless. Homely cottage around a 15 minute walk from seahouses village. Lots of lovely touches around the house. We really appreciated the welcome basket with local goodies. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds & pillows were very soft (maybe something to be aware of if you get a bad back/neck). We took our 2 young children and the house was well set up for a family. If I'm being very fussy, there was a slight dog smell but i should have expected this as the house is advertised as being dog-friendly and most of the reviews were from dog owners. We aren't dog owners so we were probably more aware of it, but we got used to it and it didn't affect our enjoyment of the house. thanks for a lovely stay

We had an incredible time at Julia’s property - the laughing seagull! It’s a perfect location for exploring Northumberland and even popping up to Edinburgh. It had everything we needed, Julia was on hand for any questions and we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt at home. The little touches just added to our stay! Would highly recommend this property, especially for those travelling with dogs.
