Discover the lively neighbourhood of Collingwood from this centrally located, two-bedroom stay. Offering the best of both worlds, you'll be in the heart of it all while still enjoying the comfort and convenience of a relaxing inner city abode that features secure parking and a furnished balcony. On the ground floor, a private entrance leads guests to two bedrooms as well as the main bathroom and laundry. Both the master and guest bedrooms feature queen-size beds and built-in wardrobes, while the master bedroom also features a modern ensuite bathroom. On the upper floor, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area provides a bright and welcoming space to relax when you're not out and about exploring the sights. Kick back on the sofa in the lounge area and watch TV, or cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and take a seat at the six-person dining table. If you'd rather eat alfresco, simply slide open the large glass doors from the living area to your own private outdoor balcony, where a table and chairs offer a sunny spot to enjoy your morning coffee.
Ruth’s apartment was perfect for our needs - visiting our daughter in Collingwood. My parents especially appreciated the heating and two bathrooms.

Renowned shopping and dining precinct Smith Street is just a 10-minute walk away, where you'll find everything from delicious brunch menus and lively pubs to vintage stores and bookshops.
For a family-friendly day out, Collingwood Children's Farm is a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive. This not-for-profit organisation offers fun for little ones with animals, community gardens, and a farmers' market held on the second Saturday of every month.
Other local attractions include the IMAX Theatre, Melbourne Museum, and Fitzroy Gardens, as well as foodie favourites Gelato Messina and Lune Croissanterie.
Parking: There is one undercover parking space.
Trams, trains and busses are right on your doorstep and provide a quick and easy ride to the CBD and tourist spots.
Collingwood is about 15-20 minutes from the CBD on the 86 tram from Smith St and Victoria Park train station is a 15 minute walk away which takes you directly to Melbourne's CBD stations.
If you are feeling energetic it's a nice 30-40 minute walk through parklands - Fitzroy Gardens, to the apartment from the CBD.
The apartment has a tram stop located close by (less than 100 metres away) and is walking distance from supermarkets, cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping.
Airport: Take the tram or train to Southern Cross Station where you can access the airport buses and trains. An Uber from the city is most efficient, costing about $50 and takes about a half hour depending on traffic.
Parking: Please keep in mind our apartment does not have free parking on-premise. There is paid on-street parking in front of our building or there is an underground Coles (paid) carpark just 4 minutes walk.
Secure luggage storage is available at Southern Cross Station (in the CBD) from $8 per day if you're planning on exploring and spending a bit more time in Melbourne, or you've scooped an amazingly cheap airfare that lands on a red-eye flight and need somewhere to put your luggage for a while longer.
