We like to offer you a private double room in our volunteers house. Kululeku is an NGO supporting the socio-development of Vilankulos. This unique beach house hosts our volunteers who support Kululeku projects and Airbnb guests whose proceeds are utilized to fund our projects and cover costs. This gives you the opportunity to meet people from all over while contributing to social impact. The house is the perfect place to relax, chill, socialize, have a braai and enjoy the breathtaking sea view. Our home is a quirky and rustic eco friendly inspired space, pleasant to those who love outdoor-indoor living. It has a fully equipped kitchen/dining area with gas cooktop, cutlery and utensils provided. The kitchen/dining area opens up to a large sitting area and garden directly facing the ocean (direct beach access) with plenty of space for entertainment and to socialise. The property includes a large round deck with outdoor BBQ facilities. The spacious open-plan layout of the house allows the natural flow of ventilation during hot summer days so it’s usually fresh. All rooms include fresh bedding and mosquito nets as well as a cleaner and night guards. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Vado, the manager of our NGO and Judith. Judith will provide you with friendly hospitality and support you with daily light domestic chores. Like cooking, cleaning and washing There’s a secure parking in the driveway for two cars and the roads in Vilankulo are easily accessible by 2x4 vehicles. The room: The listing is for a private double room with NO sea view. The bedroom is connected to a living room who is also connected to a bathroom with a large shower (please note the bathroom is shared with another private double bedroom). Where: This home is conveniently located on one of the best and prime location in Vilankulo. Has magnificent views across the bay to Bazaruto Archipelago and Bazaruto National Park. Our home is also within easy and picturesque walking distance to stunning beaches, popular water front bar and restaurants and the town centre. Beach front, great views of the picturesque Bazaruto Archipelago and the Bazaruto National Park. It is located close to several bars and restaurants (E.g., Mambo Jambo, Baobab and Dolphin Dhow).

I really enjoyed staying at Kuleluku-- it really had a mocambican feel. it's not fancy, but affordable. The people are what make it great. Judidi, the houskeeper/mama/reina of everyone, brought a smile to my face every day, and often a laugh too! she really makes you feel taken care of. She took us to the market to get ingredients to make matapa and showed us how it's done. Horacio is an EXCELLENT cook of local delights and always greets you with his amazing smile and good spirits, and is also flexible if you want to mix yesterday's leftovers with today's food. Upon arrival, Vado invited us to an braai and it was DELICIOUS and the vibes very chill and friendly. He was always available to us and took us out to a needed chocolate finding excursions kkkk. The VIEW (of the sea) IS OUTSTANDING. I think I could have spent a lifetime on that hammock watching the water. The room is comfy/private, gets cold (no need for AC honestly)beds are OK, LOTS of light comes in (so, hard to sleep in)
It was easy to write with Vanessa and she was flexible with the dates, as our plans changed spontaneously. The WIFI was very fast compard to other accommodations we stayed at. They organised a really amazing Bazaruto Island Tour for us, so we didn't need to take care of it. The staff was amazing and really friendly and helped us with all our questions. It's next to the Mabo Jumbo Bar, which we really enjoyed. Can only recommend this place!
I really like staying at the Vanessa’s airbnb! It’s a lovely place and the room had a direct view to the sea. Perfect in the morning for sunrises!! Vado that manages the places was also very friendly and gave me very good recommendations to make the most of my short stay in Vilankulos. He organised the trip to Bazaruto island and he took me the the red dunes. Thanks again!
It is a quirky place to stay, full of character and very beautiful. However, it is just above the beach so be warned that when strong storms blow in from the ocean, the rain seems to penetrate where you might not expect it to. Also the wifi was not working when I stayed, and unfortunately the man who would have fixed it was away on the business of the NGO.
