A nice stay overall. I was travelling alone but I can imagine it would be good for larger groups. My stay was little noisier than some other locations in the estate that I am used to, mainly as the house is right next to one of the main roads in the estate.

Beautiful spot, on an awesome nature reserve. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Nice lodge, very big comfy bed, securely on the Wildlife Estate. Private parking, big kitchen, helpful staff.

I had such an amazing time at Gem Bateleur. The rooms are beautiful and surrounded by the bush. One morninh a giraffe walked past my room, on another day a nyala bull walked by. The kitchen is so spacious and really well equipped. I love cooking and in a kitchen like this, cooking was simply a pleasure. There's a lovely braai area outside as well (and also with all equipement one might need). The staff working at the house, Saint and Zodwa, are very welcoming and kind, always looking after me. I would love to come back to this great place.
