Fire detectors are disabled as stated in another review. People on the first floor were up literally all night making it difficult to sleep. There is a noticeable unpleasant odor in the unit. Second night woke up to find 2 inches of water on the bathroom floor. Left right after that. Also believe these guys are operating an unlawful/unregistered short term rental. The city of Newton requires short term rental units be registered with the city and this one is not!

The space was pretty much like the pictures looked. Good size for a 1 bedroom. Being a dog friendly place, I did not expect it to be perfect. But the couches had holes in them and had an arm of one couch that was not stable. The toilet bubbled and made weird sounds. Both smoke detectors in the apartment had been removed and not replaced. Closet doors were off the track. Kitchen did not have a toaster or an oven but had an electric stove top. Quite a bit of noise in the neighborhood being next to a hospital (knew that going in) and the people staying upstairs were up late each night making enough noise to be heard when we were trying to fall asleep. If you are bringing your dog, the nearby neighborhoods are good for walks. Decent value for what it was priced at. Quick drive into Boston. May or may not stay there again.

The apartment was very clean and free of clutter. The host was very responsive to questions. The home is located on a very busy intersection corner and the driveway entrance was easy to miss. The only negatives were that the parking area was very muddy due to rain and animals had apparently found their way into the trash and it was not cleaned up for the three nights we were there.
