The farmhouse is on a hill, surrounded by farmland and overlooking one of the most beautiful valleys in Somerset. We are situated on the lay lines, and Glastonbury Tor can be viewed from various locations in the grounds. Aside from the sounds of nature, it is incredibly quiet and rural.
The surrounding land is home to a scattering of lovely farmhouses, and even a working vineyard. There are many walks (mainly off road) to explore the local area.
Pilton (Glastonbury Festival) is less than 5 minutes drive away, as is the glorious city of Wells (smallest in England). We are a 20 minute drive away from Bruton, Batcombe and The Newt.
If you're looking for more walks, the Mendips are 15 minutes drive and Cheddar gorge is just under 30 minutes - with incredible views over the County, out towards Bristol and even to the sea.
There is a Co-op in Pilton and a Morrisons on the way into Wells. Wells also has a Waitrose, Lidl, Tesco and many small delis, as well as the wonderful Cathedral and Bishops Palace, which is well worth a visit.

There is plenty of parking at the Farm. There are also bikes which can be borrowed (2 x adults / 3 x children). There are great walks direct from the house, but a car would definitely improve the experience of staying as there is so much to do and see, which is slightly further away. We can provide a selection of recommended taxi companies if useful.
