This bright, spacious, multi-level apartment in an historic Amsterdam home on a small residential street was close to everything we needed/wanted…museums, restaurants, quiet canal walks, markets and the Metro (which got us to Central Station in no time!) At either end of the street we could go to cafes, get groceries, and get great pastries. Three of us had plenty of room to comfortably spread out, and we enjoyed the back-of-the-house views onto the many gardens. As a host, Amalia was very communicative in the lead up to our arrival, checked on us multiple times during the week, and responded to our questions. She even provided us with an airport transfer to make up for a slight housekeeping issue! Great host. We would definitely stay here again.

Amalia was a wonderful host. She was extremely communicative in the lead up to our trip, providing proactive updates, sharing local recommendations and even offering to help make any restaurant reservations for our group. She was also very helpful in providing a suggestion of where to leave our luggage in the area as we arrived well before we were able to check in. The home was perfect for our group of four (two couples) as there was ample space in the bedrooms and two full bathrooms in addition to another half bath. It was comfortable, beautiful and provided exactly what we needed for our week in Amsterdam. It was also largely a quiet space, with just a bit of street noise during the evenings. It’s located very centrally for great restaurants, shopping, and culture, and we followed several of Amalia’s suggestions on food and drinks which were all fantastic.

We loved our stay at this charming two-story beautiful Amsterdam house in the middle of the nicest part of the city. Our hosts were lovely and made sure we were well taken care of. They were very accommodating! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Amalia!

Amalia’s place was beautiful and situated in a great location where you can walk or bike to the majority of the sites in Amsterdam. She was accommodating and responsive which made the stay feel comfortable and friendly. Definitely would stay again if we’re back in town!
