Rented a house at Michela's farm. Well equipped with fireplace, great kitchen to prepare your own meals, 2 bath tubs etc. Apart from many other accommodations in this region, Michela's place is also really well heated so suitable for off-season stays. There are goats, sheep, rabbits, chicken etc on the property. No major roads close by, so very quiet. Great views. Michela is a warm and friendly host who takes utmost care of making your stay pleasant. As for the surroundings, Lucca is ~40 min drive. Closest beautiful town is Barga, only ~10 minutes drive. Supermarkets ~5 minutes. Tip: Behind the house, there's a hiking trail that takes to a church.

If only I could give 10 stars! The house is beautiful, probably 300 years old and beyond charming. The grounds are breathtaking, with one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. View to mountains, gorgeous gardens and animals to be spotted. We cooked dinner and they let us use tomatoes from the abandoned garden. We swam in the beautiful pool. There is a small village nearby that has a couple of restaurants. The hosts were so nice. Next time we’ll stay longer. If you can fit this into your travel plans- do it!

If we could give 1000 stars for happiness then we would because this place deserves all of them. Such a loving, charming property with a home full of history. My family absolutely loved this place, all the animals, gardens, and the pool. Also the owners have the biggest heart, always willing to answer all my questions about things to see and do in the region. I can’t say thank you enough for such a wonderful vacation. We will certainly be returning in the near future as we fell in love with this place, especially sitting out at night by the fire watching shooting stars.

Staying at Michela’s agriturismo was simply wonderful! Best price/quality we have seen ever. The cottage was spacious and for kids cuddling with the animals was a daily treat. The pool is shared only with the other cottage from Michela, so that is really great because the pool is large enough. The surrounding is simply gorgeous with lots of things to do. Michela is very very nice, responds quickly and gives nice tips (restaurants, things to do etc.). Overall, highly recommended!!!

Vom ersten Moment an, haben wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Michela hat uns schon vor der Ankunft über alle wichtigen Dinge ausführlich informiert. Es blieben weder vor, noch während des Aufenthalts irgendwelche Fragen ungeklärt. Michela stand jederzeit zur Verfügung. Ihre ganze Art ist herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist einfach super gemütlich und man hat richtig viel Platz. So richtig zum Wohlfühlen und Abschalten. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Betten waren frisch bezogen und es gab immer ausreichend und saubere Handtücher. Der ganze Bauernhof ist voller Leben und hat uns jeden Tag viel Freude bereitet. Es gibt unzählige liebebvolle Details zu entdecken. Nicht nur für Familien ein Traum! Schaut euch die Fotos an, denn genau so sieht es dort aus. Nur, dass es in echt noch schöner ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
