This is a hidden gem in beautiful countryside. So quiet, relaxed and calm. The house is wonderful - some of the best decorations I have ever seen (we stayed here around Christmas) and very clean. Extremely friendly hosts. We slept like babies. Our stay absolutely exceeded our expectations. The hosts were extremely friendly and treated us like royals. Felt like coming home. We were offered delicious snacks, wine and dinner right after we arrived. We enjoyed the evening on the front porch of the house watching the sunset and having snacks and dinner outside. After sunset, we enjoyed the peace and quite of the countryside and watched the stars with hot tea. After dinner and snacks, we slept in our beautiful room - I haven't often slept as well as I did here. In the morning, we had an absolutely delicious breakfast (homemade pastries with coffee and orange juice). This was easily the best Airbnb experience we have enjoyed so far - I would recommend this place to anyone!

4-1/2 hours of driving, and my wife and I were really ready for a nice break, and a comfy place to stay. I hoped that I had made a good decision when I picked this place, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. A photograph of a magnificent sunset on the Airbnb site had clinched it; I wanted to see that sun go down, and the house looked very intriguing. I had no idea that I had booked for one of the best Airbnb experiences ever! As we came down the old highway, my navigation cued me in that we were drawing near our destination, and, well...that must be it...a magnificent 1894 farmhouse surrounded by open cotton fields. We pulled into the drive, and Brandon and Jason opened their home to one of our best, most restful nights, in such a delightful setting. And, in the morning, we awoke to fresh, hot coffee and found that Brandon is a baker extraordinaire, with hot blueberry scones, and an amazing coffee cake. You will not do better than a stay at Grey House, and you'll have 2 new friends!

Driving from Ohio to Florida and back, I always look for peaceful places to rest for the night. This beautiful 19th-century home is just minutes from Route 75 but presents a retreat that feels comfortably distant from the clamor of the highway--and the world in general, for that matter. The wrap-around porch offers views of acres and acres of farmland. Inside, the house feels a lot like grandma's house, with a well-curated collection of antiques and creature comforts--plenty of places to sit quietly and the most comfortable bed. And there genuinely is no lack of Southern hospitality. Brandon fed me a homemade meal and Jason had the coffee brewing when I got up in the morning. Both of the hosts engaged me in a conversation around the table that felt like family time in the best, most 'at-home' way. My advice to myself (for the next time) and others who book this experience is to plan to linger a little longer.
