Relax with the whole family at this serene getaway. Once you walk into the main door you realize "it's bigger on the inside". The home is an addition built in 2020. The warm, cozy, cottage feel invites you to stay awhile or longer if you'd like. Morning coffee on the patio while bird watching or enjoy the peaceful views of the Pecan trees. The playground is the perfect escape from a long car ride. Night brings the illuminated glow from the outdoor lights while you enjoy your company. The cottage is an addition attached to the owners' main home that was built in 2020. It is a completely private, single-story home with a small step up to enter. Upon entry, you are in an open floor plan consisting of the kitchen, living room and dining area. Kitchen Stainless-steel appliances include full size refrigerator, electric stove, and microwave. Toaster, Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Tea Kettle and tea bags. Bar size table with 2 stools. Pots, pans, baking sheets and cooking accessories included. Living Room Queen size sofa bed with memory foam. Ottoman holds the bedding. Ceiling fan. Entertainment center with Coloring books and crayons, cards, games, books. 55” smart TV with Netflix, and accessibility for personal apps. Bedroom Queen size bed with cloud-like mattress. Matching dresser along with 2 nightstands and touch lights with charging station. 40" smart TV with Netflix, and accessibility for personal apps. Folding table with comfortable rolling chair for computer work. Room darkening curtains. Huge walk-in closet with hangers. Clothes hamper. White cabinet holds extra towels. My family of four stopped here in our way to Disney and it was the perfect resting place. Yard had room for kids to play and we slept great because of the quiet and comfy place!
Mary and Dans cottage is a lovely, quiet and very private retreat. The full kitchen is a plus.
As others have said, DEFINITELY in our top 5 stays in vaca rentals! It’s hard to put into a few words how wonderful this cottage was! Standouts for us were number one, it was SO very clean! I didn’t see a speck of dust anywhere, even in drawers or the refrigerator! Also for health reasons, I cook every meal myself and the kitchen was fully stocked with just about everything we could’ve needed, plus things like plastic and foil wraps, Tupperware type containers, spices and some leftover dressings, butter, etc. from previous people. The bed was fabulous, the TV with options galore was super, and though it was small, it had a quaint little reading nook, which I used every single night, and the patio offered extra space and was so peaceful for relaxing and listening to all the abundant birds. It’s absolutely perfect for two people! We would definitely come back here again as we were there visiting friends and we come quite often. We stayed 3 wks. Dan and Mary were MORE than gracious!
