Beautiful couple getaway, Big open kitchen, Nice living room upstairs, Big comfortable king bed, walk out deck right from the main bedroom! Fire pit is located right next to the water. Very nice sunset view would definitely recommend for a getaway with a loved one! Thanks for a great stay will definitely return when in the area next!

We originally booked this place for a different weekend which unfortunately had to be cancelled by the hosts about 3 weeks before the date. However, we were offered new dates at a discounted rate for the inconvenience which we accepted. We were not disappointed, the cottage is beautiful, clean and spacious. Lots of outdoor space and patios, easy access to the lake with a sandy floor and dock. The hosts were very knowledgeable, quick with responses and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning to this cottage next year.

This cottage was absolutely amazing!! It’s set away from any other house or cottage. It gives you lots of privacy. The views were stunning as well. You can sit in the upper deck and just lounge and take in the beautiful sunset. There was lots of wildlife to sit and watch too. We were able to watch ducks, geese, cranes and deer play. Some loons could be heard as well. This all made for an amazingly peaceful getaway.

Die Lage des Hauses direkt am See ist überragend schön und ruhig, der eigene Zugang zum See sowie die Feuerstelle waren wie beschrieben, auch das Feuerholz wurde vom Vermieter gestellt! Allerdings ist das Haus bereits sehr deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und spiegelt nicht wieder was einem auf den Fotos versprochen wird. Das Haus war auch nicht sauber gewesen, schmutziger Fußboden, dreckige und verklebte Lichtschalter, dreckiger Wasserspender, dreckige Couch, tote Insekten an Decken und Wänden. Das Haus müsste einmal general überholt und gereinigt werden!!!

We had a lovely time on Mississippi Lake. The house is private, quiet, peaceful and we had access to a dock. The wind coming of the lake was fresh and the sunsets were beautiful. It is an interesting layout with the master bedroom and bath on the ground floor and the kitchen/living room area on the second floor but it was not an issue. Having the kitchen on the second floor helped with having views of the lake while cooking and eating. The lake is rather shallow and weedy in places so I suggest bringing a paddle board/other water craft to bring you out to deeper water for longer swims but it is fine for young children in the shallow water with the sandy bottom. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the dishware, pots and pans we needed. The management company was quickly responsive and answered all my questions. Very relaxing!
