We had the best time staying at Robyn's place for our (almost) one-month-long visit to Melbourne! The location of her spacious and cosy apartment is more than convenient - with a tram stop right in front of the door and the beach and supermarket only a couple of meters further, everything is easily reachable. But also the neighbourhood of St. Kilda itself is amazing to explore, with its many different events and stores to discover. We loved the chill and beachy vibe of the area, and thanks to Robyn and her proactive and kind messages with tips and recommendations, we found some really nice, local places to try out as well! Also generally, Robyn was the perfect host - she made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our whole stay, checking in on us frequently and making sure everything is alright. Mandalay was truly our home away from home - thank you, Robyn!!

We were moving from Canada with a 4 month old and Robyn’s place was one of the few Airbnb’s that accommodated children. I was worried we would have no place for our child to sleep the first night, but at Robyn’s place, she already had a travel cot set up for us, kids toys, kids kitchen plates and utensils, and even a cute beach towel to use. It made our transition incredibly easy while we looked for a long term apartment. Robyn was very easy to reach when I had questions and was incredibly kind. She knows the area well and her food recommendations were spot on. The apartment itself had everything we needed to drop our bags and go to sleep without a worry, as well as take a hot and clean shower! I would definitely recommend this place if you have kids, but if you don’t, this is also a perfect spot to hit the town every night as it’s right next to all the shops and restaurants on Acland street. The beach is also just across the street and public transport is very accessible.
