Our location is a perfect base to explore the Copper Coast and the Sunny Southeast. It's a unique holiday experience to stay in a Thatched Cottage.
There is so much to see and do. From hiking the tracks and trails in the picturesque Comeragh Mountains only 40 minutes away to exploring the coves and beaches dotted all along the coast and everything in between.
The beautiful Anne Valley walk is 3ks away. You can often spot the otters or deer early in the morning, and the beautiful swans are always available for a photo shoot. You can get a lovely vista of the whole valley from the ruins of Dunhill Castle along the route.
Swimming, surfing, kayaking, sea padding, horse riding, pitch and putt are all available locally.
The Waterford Greenway is a must for any visitor to the area. It's an amazingly beautiful area for cycling or walking with coffee shops and restaurants dotted along. Bike hire is available locally. The Greenway is Ireland's longest off-road trail at 46kms long.
Waterford City is a mere 20-minute drive away. The Viking Triangle is a great way to take in the history of the area with bars and restaurants dotted along the way.
Mother McHughes bar and Ni Bhrian cafe are 1km away offering food and drinks. The Engine house in Bonmahon also offers food and drink and is 12kms. The seaside towns of Tramore at 6km and DunmoreEast 23 minutes drive.
