Argegno
The village of Argegno has a long history, as witnessed today by the ancient stone houses, the millennial bridge over the river Telo and the beautiful Church of SS. Trinity. Pigra
In Argegno it is possible to take the cableway to reach Pigra, a small village in the Comunità Montana Lario Intelvese, located at 881mt above sea level.
From the cable car station there is already an amazing view of the Como basin and the surrounding mountains, including Monte Palanzone.
We suggest you follow the path n.4 that leads to the Pigra Belvedere, a short path of 600 meters lasting 15 minutes.
The Belvedere offers a view of Val d'Intelvi, Como branch, Monte San Primo, Centrolago (Bellagio, Varenna, Punta Balbianello, Isola Comacina), up to Grigne, Pizzo dei Tre Signori and Monte Legnone.
Schignano
Schignano is a very beautiful village of the Val d'Intelvi, located at the foot of Sasso Gordona, consisting of several small villages (Almanno, Auvrascio, Molobbio, Occagno, Perla, Posa, Retegno and Vesbio) and surrounded by mountains such as Grigno, Comana, Treviglio, San Zeno and Pizzo della Croce.
