The Villa with is maisonette and garden apartments offer comfort and a variety of standards and amenities at a unique prime location just 40 m from the beautiful bay & beach with all its facilities (water sports, restaurants) and right the end of the main village road/street, a short stroll of a few mins to its shops and relaxed bars and restaurants.
Unlike most properties in the village (especially those along the south part of the beach and inland), La Corfiota is at the limits of the residential zone - outside of which building rules are strict - hence is neighboured by only one property (which is in the residential zone) to the north (please note that this is an agrotourist property w hens and a rooster) while all other neighboring sides of the plot, are green spaces. This is rare for a sea side property that is so centrally located. Its an oasis of calm and privacy, allowing for leisure and relaxing times for parents and kids who can safely play in the well-kept gardens (one in the front, one at the back), while being literally steps off the centre of one of Corfu's most beautiful sandy beaches (calm, clear turquoise water, easily accessible for elderly and kids) and perfectly located (at mid island) to explore the island's gorgeous west coast, also north and south of Corfu island.
The centre of the buzzing yet laid-back town is a three minute stroll away; shops and mini-markets, lounge bars / cafes and tavernas | restaurants, all boast delicious aromas and yes, the well recorded warm Greek hospitality.
Summer options are endless here, from water sport activities, to boat outings, hiking up the mountains between cypress, olive and lemon trees, visiting neighbouring towns, simply lounging in the sun or enjoying the quiet view from the privacy of your own verandah or balcony.

Public buses to Corfu Town run 2-4 times a day (depending on month). The bus stop is at the cross road, across from the village Surgery, at the top of the village road (before the uphill), a 5 min walk from La Corfiota.
1 Km north (5 mins car ride) is Sinarades, an old 15th century village of 15th whic boasts one of island's honored philharmonics, a folklore museum, traditional streets and alleys.
5 more minutes of driving further north and uphill takes you to the charming village of Pelekas, its top point allowing breath taking sunsets and views (at both east and west coasts). The village of Pelekas organises several summer festivals around its square in full traditional spirit. There is also a lovely sandy beach downhill (unless you mind the all day beach lounge cafes there) called Kontoyalos, also a 5 min drive from Pelekas.
From there you can continue exploring Corfu's beautiful west coast combining mountains, cliff rocks and valleys. At the Ropa valley you will find Corfu's Golf Club, close to the dramatic sloped mountain beach of Ermones.
Driving north you will meet one of the island's reknowned, oldest winery and olive oil estates (Theotokis Estate) where you can taste and buy local wines and olive oils. Continuing noth on the same road, you wil reach the resort town of Paleokastritsa, well known for its aquamarine caves (you can viit by hirin a boat) and a top hill monastery boasting magnificent relics and of course views.
More info on AGIOS GORDIOS BEACH & VILLAGE: It is positioned on a a prime middle island (centre west coast, 15 kms or 25 mins drive from Corfu town and the airport), location and is a small, safe and friendly yet active beach resort, ideally suited for families and couples; it is named after a Roman Christian saint and there are two small churches on the village. Being a relative small resort, Agios Gordios, despite its island centre location, remains an unspoiled area of Corfu due to relative strict local building permits.
The resort is overlooked by spectacular rock formations and sheer cliffs plunging into the crystal clear waters. A gigantic rock like a huge monolith, dominates the bay, while the mythical ‘Ortholithi’ is a trademark rock rising out of the sea.
In the village of Agios Gordios (just a three min walk) there are small super markets, patisserie, car and motor bike rentals, a tourism office, a medical care centre, cash machines, clothes, jewellery and tourist novelty shops, family run restaurants and some bar-lounges. Agios Gordios has a true village atmosphere. There are small fruit and vegetable shops, mini markets, cafes and play areas for children.
The beach (almost on our door step) is one of the most known - appreciated on Corfu Island; various water sports and scuba diving are available on the beach. There are many tavernas and bars in and around the village, several of them right on the beach. They offer a wide range of cuisines at a level of service, quality at prices to meet most budgets, including traditional Greek, Seafood, Mexican, Italian.
To the north end of the beach a shingle and pebble beach unwinds for about a kilometer with plenty of possibilities for being on your own. To the south there is a beautiful sandy stretch with several bars-all day restaurants and tavernas. If you have children, possibly you/they will enjoy most the centre and south side of the sandy beach which slopes gently and is shallow for quite a way out.
The nearby villages of Sinarades, Kato Garouna, the fishing villages of Pentati, Fiorula port, Paramonas Beach and Pavliana are all within walking, hiking or biking distance. There you can meet and spend time with the locals and sample their home-made wine and food.
