Welcome to our charity-run Airbnb, where you can experience comfort and contribute to a meaningful cause at the same time. Central to Ottery and only 15 minutes from the coast/beaches. Choice of super-king or twin beds, 1 travel cot, and 1 fold-out mattress chair for a small child. The flat has a peaceful, old-timey feel. We provide support and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and mental health. The incredible learners manage our Airbnb and café to deliver great service! The flat is set back from the road near the center of Ottery St Mary towards the picturesque local church. It is on the second floor overlooking a garden and a beautiful protected tree. To the rear of the property is a private car park to the right, that guests will have access to; we ask that you please let us know how many vehicles you will be bringing during your visit. The large bedroom has plenty of storage space and additional seating, and we can set this out as a twin room or a super king-size bed. When you enter the apartment, you will be greeted by the bright and well-equipped kitchen and the cozy lounge to your left, set up with books, board games, and television. There is a 2-person dining table. We have a travel cot available and a small fold-out chair that turns into a floor mattress for a small child. This is in the dining room. There is a main bathroom and an additional room with an extra toilet. The main bathroom provides a walk-in shower and deep bath. We welcome friendly and well-trained dogs! Doggies will need to bring their own bed, and we ask they not go on the furniture. Please be aware there are 2 dogs who have free access to the garden next door. There is no garden but lots of lovely local dog walks. The Silver Otter Cafe is downstairs and is open Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. We offer Full English breakfasts all day, fresh light lunches, coffees, and homemade cakes. The learners work in the cafe gain real-life work skills, please call to say hello! We offer a 10% discount in the cafe for our guests.
