The Hive Short Stays is a small family owned business. We are very keen to ensure contact with our guests is prompt from the day of booking, to arriving and during your stay. We respect your privacy but are always at hand should the need arise. We live local so can advise on anything you wish to know for your stay. We always ensure our apartments are ready for your arrival to a high standard that would hopefully exceed your expectations! Blooms Apartment is a high quality “City Centre style” one-bedroom apartment located in Marple. It offers comfortable accommodation for 2 to 4 people. The bedroom can be set up with either a king-sized bed or two single beds, providing flexibility for sleeping arrangements. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the living area that can accommodate additional guests. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their meals during their stay. In the living area, there is a large flat smart TV for entertainment purposes. The spacious shower room offers a rain shower option, providing a luxurious bathing experience. For added convenience, the apartment includes a utility room with a washer/dryer, allowing guests to do laundry during their stay. The bedroom also has a smart TV for entertainment in the privacy of your own room. To ensure comfort throughout the year, the apartment is heated by an air source heat pump, providing efficient and environmentally friendly heating. Additionally, the apartment offers an electric car charger with up to 22kw capacity, making it convenient for guests with electric vehicles. For security and peace of mind, the apartment provides private gated parking. Outside, there is a seating area where guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Great location, close to the local Shops, restaurants and pubs, you could be at any of these in just a couple minutes. You’re also a short walk or drive from very picturesque surroundings, so the location couldn’t be better. The apartment itself was lovely, modern looking with all the facilities you need. Jane was really helpful, always helping us out with recommendations or if we had any questions. Really great to have such a helpful host. Would recommend anybody to stay here.

A superb apartment only bettered by a fantastic host. Very spacious 1 bedroom apartment, with flexible sleeping - ideal for 3, but sleeps up to a family of 4! Great amenities, perfectly clean and a private parking space - what more could one ask for! We’ll definitely be back…thank’s again to Jane for all your help!
We have just returned from our stay at The Hive in Marple. Was super cosy and cool and great location for visiting family. Jane was a great host, great communication and helpful.
Very clean, well appointed, and located close to all the essentials. Great shower, cozy living spaces, and a comfortable bed. we had a great stay, and would definitely return.

Marple is charming town with a range of amenities to enjoy. 2 mins walk to the pedestrianised street with local shops, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops- an ideal place to start your day with a delicious breakfast! Marple is part of the Peak Forest Canal with wonderful canal side walks. The River Goyt is another gem of Marple with walks to the Roman Lakes which is full of historical industrial heritage. For families with children The Garden House farm homes a variety of animals to see.
