This home is beautiful and stocked with pretty much everything you need, as if you were at home. The whole family raved about every detail, from plenty of space to q-tips in the bathrooms. We would love to stay here again!

Our time at The Gathering Place is the perfect spot to host a Work or Wellness Retreat. Our time in southern Utah was truly transformative. Nestled amidst breathtaking red rock landscapes, the serene surroundings offered a perfect sanctuary for our wellness journey. From invigorating yoga sessions in the sunroom to moments of deep introspection during meditation, every experience fostered a profound connection with nature and ourselves. The hosts' impeccable responsiveness and genuine care enhanced our stay, ensuring it was unforgettable. Exploring the surrounding hike and bike trails by the lake and partaking in cold water plunges invigorated our senses and left us feeling deeply nourished. The Gathering Place is a haven for anyone seeking renewal amidst the natural wonders of southern Utah. Highly recommended! Throughout our retreat, we were continually reminded of the healing powers of nature amidst the striking hues of the deserts sunset with the majesty of the rock formations!

We loved our stay at The Gathering Place. I plan large family retreats every year and have been to Kanab several times, but my first time at The Gathering Place and it was amazing. I will certainly book it again. The house is decorated beautifully, it was so clean, and everything matched the photos. Kanab has a bit of something for everyone and Karalee gave us fantastic ideas - she even took us on a guided bike tour. We had group discussions, art space, hikes and biking, we even did a cold water plunge. I swear that the sunroom was made for morning yoga. There were so many spaces to have people hang out: a game room, the sunroom, a movie space, gigantic kitchen/ dining space plus the beautiful yard. We had an army to feed and we fit around the two large dining room tables and used all the extra storage spaces. They even have a second fridge in the butler pantry. All and in all you can tell that the place was put together with thoughtfulness. We will be back for another retreat!

The Gathering Place is AWESOME and appropriately named. Our extended family group loved the many large and small gathering areas. This place is also amazingly clean! The kitchen is large and is better equipped with appliances, cookware and supplies than any other place we’ve stayed. The dining room is augmented by 3 picnic tables outside. The kids loved the toys in the sunroom and watching shows in the movie room. The teenagers hung out in the game room for hours. The adults chatted while putting puzzles together. It was surprising how relaxed we felt even with a large group. The WiFi service was excellent throughout the entire house. The pad in front of the RV garage and the front parking accommodated all the vehicles. Karalee and Matt responded immediately to our texts and even shared local info on amazing red rock places to visit. We wish we could give The Gathering Place 10 stars (but only 5 are allowed). We plan to return!!!

The Gathering Place was perfect for our family trip. Great space to spread out and relax, beautiful views, close to the town of Kanab. The house was well appointed with everything a family needs. The game garage was a great place to hang out and relax after spending the day hiking!
