Seasonal heated pool is steps away. Walking distance to Davis Beach, Ponderosa State Park, 5 minute drive to town. Plan your escape to this condo on the green. We are not fancy or posh, but we're very roomy and comfortable with beautiful views of the golf course through a stand of trees! Whether you are hoping to relax indoors in front of the wood burning fireplace or to partake in the endless outdoor recreation in and around the area, enjoy your vacation here! Come settle into our slightly antiquated, completely cozy, very spacious & accommodating condo filled with amenities to make your visit both smooth and enjoyable! We're well appointed for both families & mixed groups and their pups (review pet expectations under house rules), so walk on in, hang your hat, and stake out your territory... BEDROOM #1: The primary bedroom is up the stairs and is a very large suite! There is a king-size bed with night side tables on both sides that have charging ports for your devices. Turn on the electric fireplace for a little ambiance. There's a dedicated workspace desk (if you must), covered balcony right off the suite for a night cap, plus an enormous in-suite bathroom. This bathroom has an extra long double vanity, lots of storage, large closet, separate closing area for the toilet, and large vintage jetted tub. (Please note that the one household shower is in the mainfloor bathroom!). In the closet is a fold-away mini crib on the ready, should you have an infant or toddler, AND a queen air mattress for larger groups. BEDROOM #2 is also on this second floor. It is very accommodating for singles or kids with 2 twin XL beds, a fold-away twin bed (stored in the closet, you make if it's needed), and a very convenient in-suite 1/2 bath! The fold-away bed can be set up in this room for a cozy fit or easily wheeled into the master area, which is especially nice when littles want to be nearby parents. There is plenty of storage with a dresser, closet, and an additional linen closet of shelves in the bathroom. BEDROOM #3 is on the main floor conveniently next to a full bathroom. This bedroom is furnished with a queen-size log bed, which embraces a feel of a mountain-lodge room when combined with the decor. You'll have a dresser and small closet for storage, 2 bedside tables, and reading lamps equipped with charging ports for your devices. The aforementioned mentioned second FULL BATHROOM with tub/shower combo has a single sink vanity, which is, again, located right next to the bedroom on the main level of the house. Though there is only the one shower, remember there are 2 other bathrooms to finish getting ready in! Now into the gathering areas of the kitchen, dining, wet bar area, living room and deck... The spacious LIVING ROOM comfortably seats 7, boasts views of beautiful mature evergreens filtering the golf course green beyond (definitely a white-wonderland during the winter!), a TV (log in to your personal accounts), and a fireplace for added coziness and ambiance. Note: The fireplace is not a sustainable source of heat and is best appreciated for the ambiance. Hosts provide a starter amount of kindling and wood to set the vibe! Local stores often sell bundles, or bring your own if you prefer to keep the fire burning. Start your day with coffee and end it with cocktails or mocktails using the family-friendly WET BAR. As your hosts, we have a small amount of starter items stocked and ready for use. Items and amounts vary, so pack your must-haves, and feel free to use what's on hand. Beside the wet bar are shelves filled with games, puzzles, books, and more. We encourage you to pull something down and set it up on the drop-leaf table, placed there specifically to suit your needs, nodding to a sort of game area. Start a puzzle and peck away throughout your stay. Get a game going and gather around. Let the kiddos set up for some coloring. Or have your morning coffee or evening night cap set off to the side from the bustle of the rest of the household. The DINING area seats 6 comfortably. Pull over the 2 chairs from the game table and seat up to 8. The bar seats 5 who can keep the cooks company, yet remain out of the way, while the feast is being prepared in the kitchen. The KITCHEN is well appointed for your cooking needs! In our antiquated space, we've blended vintage with modern, donning retro copper colored counter tops and wooden cabinets with up-to-date stainless appliances, pulling together perfectly for your mountain get-away. The warm colors elevate the kitchen's coziness, and it is large enough to recruit plenty of helpers! Take in some fresh air under the covered DECK set just off the dining room. There are chairs for relaxing, a picnic table for outdoor dining, and the gas grill for outdoor cooking. PARKING AND ENTRY: When using the first entrance, keep right and park in any open space; one space is guaranteed for you and usually a second space is available. You'll see a covered breezeway between the garages; follow this, turn right, then take the sidewalk on up to the condo's main entrance. THE PROPERTY As to be expected with condominiums, most of the grounds, paths, and parking are shared. This unit is on the end, giving you the feel of added outdoor space! The area is heavily timbered, so be sure to pause and take in the beauty. There is a path that surrounds the golf course. During the winter and early spring, this path is maintained, and you're allowed to walk it for your pleasure and exercise; summer and fall are reserved for the golfers. The seasonal pool is just steps away. This is a small strip of only 8 condominiums, so the pool is lightly used. Use at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Note: There is an exterior recording security camera. We are in compliance with the city. Permit # 3001 THINGS TO DO... When it's time to venture away from the comfort of the condo, adventure awaits! *GOLFING: easy, you're in a perfect location for this! Remember, you're on the McCall Golf Course. Want to try them all? Here are some other courses to consider: Whitetail Club, Meadow Creek Golf Resort, and Jug Mountain Ranch. *The nearest public beach, DAVIS BEACH, is only a short walk away. *DOWNTOWN McCall is less than 2 miles away with 2 more beaches (these have sledding hills during winter), dining, and shopping. ROTARY PARK: A few miles west down Lake Rd., on the other side of town. Includes roped swimming area, a playground. picnic tables, and more. *PONDEROSA STATE PARK: A hub of recreation at your fingertips. Try hiking, biking, the beaches, drive through it, Nordic skiing, snow shoeing, walking. Take the dog, take the kids! Mid summer, you may even find hucklberries. *BROWN PARK (downtown McCall) has undergone a beautiful family-friendly renovation! A must if you have littles! * The ever-popular North Beach is about 6.5 miles away. * For you skiers, BRUNDAGE MOUNTAIN has the best snow and is only 12 miles west. Beautiful TAMARACK skiing is about a 35-minute drive. *There are many trails throughout the area mountains for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, ATV-ing, & snowshoeing .
