Very beautiful home for a weekend getaway. Myself and three friends do an annual board game weekend and typically pick somewhere between Toronto and Ottawa. This was our pick for this year, and it was a great space to post up indoors for a chilly April weekend. Beautiful views of Rice Lake! Wonderful kitchen and bathroom as well.

The cabin was an absolute hidden gem. The scenery was stunning, and even with not great weather we always found things to do. The large property made a great stay for our dog, giving him ample space to smell and enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful environment. This cabin is a perfect getaway for a couple or a small family, with lots of room for activities. The hosts were incredibly helpful and communicative with any/all questions we had and made check in and out very simple. Would (and will) absolutely go back for another stay.

This cottage clearly exceeds the five-star rating; it’s precisely as advertised, fully furnished and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. Perfect for those in search of a tranquil, private escape. Both Hillary & Jalene were responsive and forward-thinking in their hospitality. It truly felt like a second home. 😊 The experience of soaking in the hot tub under the stars was nothing short of magical. Will visit again for sure!

My family and I had a relaxing long weekend stay at this clean and cozy cottage with everything you need and more. The views are stunning! The location was perfect, not too far from Peterborough and the 401. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

From booking to check-out, everything was easy and exceeded our expectations. My wife and I booked Jalene’s cabin for a romantic, relaxing anniversary weekend and we were not disappointed. The beautiful and well thought out cabin has a rustic/modern feel with lots of natural wood and pops of colour with modern touches. The panoramic views of Rice Lake provide breathtaking scenery whether you’re sipping coffee on the couch, soaking in the hot tub or walking the surrounding property. The cabin was stocked with everything you could ever need and anything you may have forgotten. There are lots of amazing furniture options whether you’re looking to read a book by the fire, a nap on the large comfy sectional, or curling up to watch a movie..it has it all. Needless to say, we left happy and relaxed and immediately started checking their availability for a fall return!
