A fabulously renovated, 2 bed home on a large section, only 10 minutes walk to the beach and the stunning Tamaki waterfront. A great place to relax and unwind whilst preparing for a night out, a concert at Spark Arena, or a day at the beach. Each room has a comfy, king-sized bed, with down duvets to ensure a great night’s sleep. Our 1930's home has beautiful native timber floors, and modern furnishings. Fully insulated, with central gas heating to keep you warm on chilly days and beautiful days in the sun the rest of the time. Sit out on the deck, BBQ and relax.

Highly recommend Colin’s place, we had a wonderful time. The house is clean and spacious, location is amazing, very private and quiet. Colin was a great host, we loved the little touches like cheese board on arrival of herbs and veggies from the garden that the host offered to try. Overall great stay!

Orakei is a friendly coastal community close to the central city, Spark Arena, Kelly Tarltons Underwater World. The local park has a great playground for the kids, football fields, and public BBQs.
Buses run frequently (bus stop is 600m away), although an Uber is approximately $15 to the city. The train station is 1.8km from the house.
There is no shortage of rental scooters and e-bikes around for exploring along the waterfront or into the city.
