I had the pleasure of staying at Jon's Airbnb in San Sebastian, and I must say he is the most helpful host I have ever encountered. Jon personally greeted us at the apartment and provided a detailed introduction to the facilities, as well as recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. The location of the apartment itself is very convenient, with the train station, old town area, and beach all within a 10-minute walk. The inclusion of a washer-dryer and umbrellas in the apartment made it much easier for us to navigate rainy days in San Sebastian. On our first night, which happened to be the eve of a public holiday, there was some noise from music downstairs that continued until midnight. After contacting Jon, he personally came over even though it was midnight, to investigate the issue and help resolve it. The following night was much quieter, and we appreciated his prompt response and assistance.

It's difficult to know if we were the first occupants to stay here or not because the apartment was so clean that it seemed to have been recently remodeled. Jon was flexible in meeting us after a long drive. We parked in the underground lot just down the street. Our host left a map, laminated card with suggestions for eating and sightseeing, plus a handy guidebook. We walked everywhere. The aquarium is first-rate. Jon also directed us to the cleanest grocery store with the freshest and widest variety we have encountered in all of Spain. Of course, guests may not wish to prepare their own meals given the plethora of pintxo bars spilling onto the patio located outside the building. Although we were aprehensive at first, the listing was well insulated and we slept well. There are only positives regarding our stay here. Thank you for all!

Jon’s place was great, nice location very nearby the old town and the Beach. Everything in the area is quite walkable. He was super responsive and gave great tips on the area, and the apartment was perfect for a couple staying the weekend. Only thing was it was quite noisy at night as there was a public square and some bars right outside so we did sleep with earplugs.
