The staff were very polite and responsive. The apartment I stayed in was modern and well furnished. The linens are fresh. Internet works well. Given the power cuts in the country, there is an inverter the lights up parts of the apartment. Crystal is constantly upgrading the place. I commend all the work being done in the garden.
I will start by saying the host was extremely responsive and solutions oriented. That said, three major incidents occurred. First, the location was inaccurate on the advert for this Airbnb. the real location was about 15 minutes further up north in "New area 43". This would not be a problem if taxis weren't charging me insane prices, but they do. As a solution, they offered me the use of the driver to do groceries and use the gym. Second, they informed me I had to pay for my own wifi after I used up the 68gb credit (though this ad said wifi included). I complained, and they agreed to waive this fee. Third, the compound security guard opened my front door (while it was night time) "to check if it was unlocked" - I always locked it at night. The host herself came to apologize for this incident and the security guard was, I assume, dealt with. This did not happen again. Besides these issues, I had a wonderful stay because the host really listened to my concerns and resolved them promptly
Great place to stay as a group in Lilongwe. It is a little outside the city center so it is nice and quiet but still close to everything!
