We are your local hosts, Jonna and Reid Kitchen. We have lived in Humboldt County for the past 25 years. We decided to start a vacation rental business over a decade ago because of our love for traveling and living like locals. We have watched the vacation rental industry expand beyond our wildest dreams over the past few years. If you want a real local experience we are your perfect hosts since you can call and talk with real Humboldt County people. We are truly your local hosts and are here to offer you all of our expertise on the local area. We lived in Arcata for 10 years and Trinidad for the past 15 years where we have raised our two boys. Reid attended Humboldt State University. He loves to surf, fish, and backpack. He can tell you about all the best spots to enjoy these activities. Jonna loves hiking, yoga, gardening and cooking. We know tons of fun things to do with children and family friendly restaurants. We also know the most romantic places to go for a special occasion. We are here to help our guests have the best possible experience. We want you to feel like you’ve found a home away from home in the Redwoods.
