Short walk to Kirkby Lonsdale town centre with it's popular bars, restaurants, bank, supermarket and shops. Easy access to travel routes for the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Walkers, cyclists and bikers welcome. Scenic walking, cycling and running routes on the doorstep with local information available. Situated on the popular Lancashire Cycleway route. Springfield Lodge is situated in half an acre of private land. There is a gated parking area at the front which provides ample off road parking for guests. We have safe storage for bicycles. All guest rooms have television, tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can use the dining room with television, microwave and fridge. Kirkby Lonsdale also has a wide variety of bars and restaurants which are within easy walking distance. Booths supermarket is within easy walking distance for any essentials.

fiona was an unbelievable host, more than helpful, the place is immaculate, great location not just for the short walk to Kirkby Lonsdale, but the short drives to other great lake district areas. the breakfast, great selection of fresh food. and cooked breakfast was amazing and substantial.
Beautiful home, in an idyllic location. Wonderful breakfast. We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
Passing through we just spent one night with Fiona but she was very forthcoming and kind. The rooms were perfectly clean and spacious. She also served an excellent breakfast. Definitely a place I would recommend.
Springfield Lodge was lovely, spotless and ideally located, being just a ten minute walk into Kirkby Lonsdale. Fiona was welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous and filled us up for the day! Thank you Fiona for a really relaxing break!

We have easy access to the A65 which goes to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. It is a short walk down into the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale town with its shops, restaurants, riverside walk and amenities. We have amazing views from our property.
We have free off street on site parking in a gated driveway. It is a short walk down into Kirkby Lonsdale where there is a supermarket, chemist, shops, bank and tourist information. There are also local buses into Kendal and Lancaster. There are countryside walks immediately available on the doorstep. Option to lock push bikes in the garage if required.

We are fortunate to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoy getting out in the local countryside of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. I am a member of a local reading group and enjoy crafts - especially enamelling, photography and walking. I am happy to share local knowledge of great places to visit (hidden gems) and reputable restaurants. When I travel I like to stay in a clean comfortable room whether on a city break abroad or in a holiday cottage in the UK. I hope that the service I provide as a host would be what I would expect when I travel.
