Cottage was well appointed with everything you need. Very homely accommodation, with a great patio area to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink. Excellent communication by Doug, he was in contact before our arrival and met us to show us around which was very helpful. Perfect location for local amenities, farm shop, Spar, Indian, Chinese, Fish & Chip Shop and an excellent pub with good menu, all within no more than a few minutes walk.

One of the best AIRbnb’s we stayed in. Fully refurbished & equipped. Didn’t miss a thing- mass number of towels (usually owners supply 1 per person which I hate but not here), toiletries & even a first aid kit. Kitchen had everything we could ask for too. The location of the cottage is great and short drive from Cornwall main attractions. Highly recommended.

It is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Near to some beautiful parts of Cornwall. Good local amenities Nice local pub and amazing Indian restaurant/ takeaway in the village all within walking distance. Douglas met us at the property and was really welcoming, made us feel home from home. He spoke to us about local places of interest. He is a very kind and sincere host and wished us the best stay in his beautiful home. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. All modern utilities. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of Cornwall. Douglas is a lovely lovely host xx

We are a family of 4 plus a small dog. This place accommodated for all. Surprising the cottage looked bigger than pictures. Ample towels in every room. There was fresh milk for tea and coffee. Helpful list for local take outs. Each rooms were a good size and very comfortable. We felt very at home. Not a major issue but Wi-Fi connection was not great. We managed to watch a film on our first night with some buffering in between the film. A local Spar and Farm shop if you wanted to cook at home. Otherwise Hawkins pub served food. Fish and chips were yummy! There’s a local Indian restaurant, but we didn’t sample that. Chinese was not authentic and a Fish & Chips, which again we did not sample. We would return again and we highly recommend. Doug completed our expectations as he popped in on the day we were checking out. Really a nice touch and we appreciated his visit to meet us. Thank you again Doug. We hope we have shown you our respect in your home and welcome us back in the future!
