A comfy, stone built 2 bedroom cottage with an open plan living space, in a quiet little hamlet in North Cornwall's designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is walking distance to the coastal path and the beautiful beach at Trebarwith Strand, and a 5 minute drive to Tintagel. The popular fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac are short drives away. This area is less populated than most of the rest of Cornwall, so you will be able to find peace and quiet away from the crowds. Open plan, comfortable downstairs living space, with a lounge, well equipped kitchen, dining area and sun room. In the lounge area there is a TV with integrated DVD player, a CD player and a selection of DVDs, books, walking guides and OS maps of the area. There is also a real log burner. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one double bed, and two single beds) with far reaching countryside and sea views, and a toilet and shower. The fully enclosed back garden is small but very pleasant on a sunny day. There is also a raised gravel garden next to the parking space, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and the sea. Great for BBQs or just watching the sun go down with a glass of wine.

A lovely cosy cottage and a great base to explore beautiful North Cornwall
Jubilee Cottage is a wonderful base for exploring the local coastline, and also a great place to relax and unwind. Super-clean and comfy. Erik was very helpful and responsive. The recommended walks and beaches in the folder were especially useful in an area with so many gorgeous locations. The recommended vet was brilliant when our furry boy needed help at short notice. We wanted to stay an extra night but, unsurprisingly, it was already booked for the next day. Would definitely visit again.
A great find for a short break, excellent location for exploring the north Cornwall coast, and within walking distance of a life guarded beach at trebarwith strand. Really peaceful and private with a secret garden, sea views and comfortable beds.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great set up for holidaying with a dog, nice open plan downstairs, 5 min drive from Tintagel and about 15 min to Boscastle. Private garden with beautiful sea views, well-equipped kitchen, near to some beautiful beaches and brilliant walks. We will be back!
The house was clean and tidy with a nice range of books and DVDs . Lovely views of the countryside and seas from the bedrooms. The TV reception was a bit temperamental. Smallish kitchen with a small fridge but worked for our needs. The parking space was tight, luckily we didn't have anyone in the space next to it otherwise we would have struggled to get in and out. Trewarmett is a pleasant, quiet hamlet perfectly situated for access to the stunning coastal path and the beach at Trebarwith Strand, which are a 25 minute brisk walk away. The popular town of Tintagel is only 2 miles up the road and the very pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac (of "Doc Martin" fame) and Boscastle are 15 minutes drive to the South and the North respectively.
Slightly further afield, Bodmin moor is only a 20 minute drive away, with wonderful walking over Rough Tor and Brown Willy (the highest point in Cornwall) being easily accessible.
The beautiful beach running from Daymer Bay to Rock is only a 25 minute drive away, and the Rock ferry will quickly get you across the Camel estuary to the popular fishing port of Padstow and it's beaches.
There are no pubs, shops or restaurants in Trewarmett, but the Port William pub in Trebarwith Strand, and the Mill House Inn between Trewarmett and Trebarwith Strand are close by. Tintagel has 4 more pubs, an italian restaurant and two fish and chip shops, as well as two mini-marts for provisions.
There are bus stops at the end of the lane going in both directions (North towards Tintagel and Bude or South towards Camelford and Wadebridge), but bus services are infrequent so a car will enable you to really make the most of your time here.

My wife Joanne and I live and work in Nottingham and spend a lot of our free time in the great outdoors walking with our dog, Jimmy. That's why we love it in Cornwall so much, the coastal path, beaches and moors are stunning, so we hope to move there eventually. But, until then, our cottage near Tintagel is available for you to holiday in, we're sure you'll love it as much as we do. We won't be nearby during your stay, but we will be available to you by phone, and our cottage caretakers live very close by and will be able to come round and resolve any issues you may have.
