Absolutely incredible cabin and had everything we needed plus some. Perfect place to stargaze when the weather allows and the fire pit with the hammocks were the absolute best. The place is absolutely stunning and super clean. Great kitchen supplies to make sure you can cook all week and not stress on having enough stuff to make it easy. The grill was also amazing to have as well. Communication was great and the owner was very friendly. Getting up the hill the first time was an adventure and once done once in the daylight was very easy to manage. Directions were also very easy to follow. we will def be back to this cabin anytime we wanna get away as the views are breathtaking. Thanks for being so accommodating! See ya next time!

What a beautiful place! If you’re looking for a private getaway, this is the place. I was looking for a last minute weekend trip with my son near Joyce Kilmer forest and luckily found this listing nearby. Morning coffee by the fire pit at sunrise was my favorite and the hammocks were a perfect choice for r&r with a ridgeline view. The cabin was spotless and well equipped. We’re used to packing kitchen and laundry essentials when traveling, but this place had everything you’d need without making a trip to the store. We even packed some firewood, but the wood shed on site had plenty to supplement. Cell phone service is limited, so you may want to download any maps you need before you travel. However, if you’re not planning to leave the cabin, the host instructions were sufficient enough to get there without google/imaps. Loved our stay.

We loved our 5 days at the cabin. The first time up the one mile drive from the highway was quite an adventure but once we saw the views from the top it was worth it. We only went down once a day for hiking and exploring. After we became familiar with the road it wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed camp fires every night but one when the strong wind made it impossible. The cabin has been updated and was very clean with comfortable furniture. We really had a great experience at Smoky Mountain Escape 2.

All I can say is that view is what I needed to cleanse my mind. Family had a wonderfully stay will definitely be coming back.
