肯特(Kent) · 整套联排别墅 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Beautiful Boutique Townhouse in Central Sevenoaks
Set in the very heart of Sevenoaks, this unique property has been recently renovated in an elegant and innovative way, creating a stunning and spacious yet cosy place to stay. The Townhouse has 3 beds suitable for adults - the 4th bed is a trundle bed, suitable for a child. The spacious master bedroom can be set up with a super kingsize bed or with twin beds. Built-in wardrobes stretch the whole length of the room. The original fireplace, wooden shutters, halo lighting and wooden floors create an entirely charming and restful room. The second bedroom is a nice sized, elegantly decorated room, with beautiful, delicate blue floral paper adorning the walls and ceiling, giving the impression of being within a spring garden. White painted floorboards stretch over the floor and white wooden shutters, shelving decorated with plants and a white ceiling fan adds to the effect of being within spring and summer. A built-in wardrobe provides considerable storage space. A trundle bed can be made up in this room to create a 4th bed, suitable for a child (if preferred, we can set the trundle bed up in the master bedroom) The bathroom has a beautiful Antonio Lupi Corian deep free-standing bath with an integrated seat and has been positioned so as to enjoy the rooftops of the old jailhouse while taking a dip and sipping wine. The sitting room is a spacious room, with large sash windows overlooking the high street, on trend with bicoloured walls of white and pavilion grey adding to the quirkiness of the property. A floor to ceiling cupboard provides shelving, houses the TV and contains a purpose-built pull-out desk, perfect for remote working! The windows are adorned with solid wood shutters giving more character to the room but the highlight is the original fireplace embossed with dragons. Free fibre broadband is available and Smart TV access to BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 - as well, there are plenty of different games to play. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge freezer, Bora hob, and toaster. There is a breakfast bar and stools to dine on and a boot cupboard to keep shoes and coats tidy. As well as a walk in pantry for extra food stroage and preperation space. The property has a utility room with a washer/dryer, wall hung laundry baskets and compact, functional airers. Please Note: Neither of the fireplaces are working fireplaces, the rooms are seperated by a few flights of stairs, across 3 floors, so may not be suitable for some guests. Strictly NO PETS are allowed inside the property.
PROS Good location, comfortable bed, generous closet space, fast wifi. Television has an active Prime subscription. Check-out is straightforward. Host responded quickly when informed of a plumbing issue. CONS There appears to be a longstanding drainage problem with the bathroom tub. Entry into and out of the tub is, at best, unconventional, and at worst, hazardous. Kitchen heating is inadequate on cold days (the rest of the flat stays warm). There is no microwave. The drawer that held plates and cups also unfortunately held debris. BE ADVISED The flat is quirky - fun if you like something with historical "character". But if you have difficulty managing stairs, or have a small child, you might prefer another place to stay. You are in the kitchen when you enter the flat, and from there, rooms spool off a stairway that is narrow and step. Every room is a full or half flight up from the room that came before.

There is a cinema, theatre, swimming pool in the town and a couple of public golf courses nearby.
The area is surrounded by historic properties; Hever Castle, Ightham Mote, Penshurst Place, Chartwell, Emmetts, Chiddingstone Castle, Titsey Place, Lullingstone Castle to name but a few and wonderful walks starting from the numerous neighbouring villages.
There are wine tastings to be had at the Mount Vineyard in the nearby village of Shoreham, followed by dinner in their restaurant with the retractable roof or a gin experience at the Greensand Ridge Distillery in Shipbourne.
Brands Hatch is only 15 minutes up the road, if you are into racing or Bluewater shopping centre and Tunbridge Wells are a 20 minute drive.
Daily, weekly or monthly parking tickets for the local carpark are available at an extra cost, if you are bringing your car. However, it is not essential to have a car, the property is in the centre of town and buses (caught from the bus station, which is a 2 minute walk away) go out to many of the villages and neighbouring towns. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk and trains run regularly to London and out to many other towns and down to the coast.
