Wallabies and pademelons, possums, raptors, owls and native birds are abundant, you will enjoy the river views, especially at sunset. The home was established in 1972 by an Englishman who loved gardens and then a local GP who lived here and raised his family, developing an orchard and gardens into his retirement. It has recently changed hands and a local family now hosts guests to enjoy our amazing place on the planet. The wildlife, bird life and sounds of nature are a beautiful place to unwind. Located near Turners Beach, central to Ulverstone, Devonport and local farm gates and tourist attractions, and in the middle of the coastal bike pathways, it is perfectly located to explore the NW coast. 1 hrs drive from Cradle Mountain, and 15mins walk to Leith Beach, or 20mins to Turners Beach, or 5mins by bike (we hire e-bikes) to beaches and cafes, you will love your retreat. We can order and deliver a gourmet box of treats to go with your local wine or sparkling, and you may want to stay and not go anywhere! Books, games, silence and sunsets with your bubbles may entice you to stay!
