Arc Pavilion is a unique, eco-luxury, romantic escape in the Forth region. Underneath, a 7.5m tiny-house-on-wheels, it was designed and crafted by the Bell Sister's in 2020. With northern glazing to soak up the stunning country-side and Bass Strait views, including an outdoor bathtub, the architecturally-designed accommodation was created as the perfect, unique, eco-tiny house romantic getaway experience; showcasing a unique architectural form/interior design, hand-made furniture and more.

We had a wonderful overnight getaway at Arc Pavilion. Particularly loved the outdoor bath, the peaceful surroundings and doing yoga on the sunny deck in the morning.
The place we had booked was not clean when we arrived so we had to find somewhere else to stay very late in the day. Reached out to Kylie who made everything very easy. Turns out that every cloud has a silver lining. The tiny house was absolutely gorgeous. Magnificent view, beautifully appointed, comfortable, cosy and warm. Kylie was quick to respond to any questions. I would 100% recommend Compass Hut.
Loved the outside bath. Kylie, the host was very responsive to messages and easy to communication with. So relaxing, my husband and I felt restored for the two days we spent in the awesome off the grid, tiny home with a fabulous view - equals - equilibrium. We would definitely do again.
What a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended couldn’t ask for anything more!!

Colonial Blue is located in a quiet countryside setting, on a corner of an organic vegetable farm, with beautiful Tasmanian native bushland alongside the garden's east side.
The tiny house sits on its own, in its own private garden/fenced paddock, and is located away from other properties:
- Two bookable tiny homes are located 200 - 300 meters away (screening/high fencing has also been installed to create maximum privacy)
- The closest residential country house is approx. 1 km west - can be seen in the distance.
Guests can enjoy the full privacy and seclusion of the tiny house location, whilst only being a short 5 - 15 minute drive from:
- Turners Beach (a local favourite for swimming)
- Forth Village (small picturesque township where a village store, petrol station, bottle shop, the Forth pub, cafe and wellness centre can be found)
- Devonport (Tasmania's third largest coastal city, and the home of the Spirit of Tasmania terminal)

The easiest way to get around is by car (your own or hire car), as we are located 13 13-minute drive out of Devonport in the Forth countryside.

For those keen to explore the region, there is a range of Cycle/Walking tracks to choose from: our favourites are:
- Devonport Cycle and Walking Track (starts 8 minutes drive from arc Pavilion at the Don River Railway)
- Tasmanian Arboretum (famous for their platypus') located 5 minutes drive from Arc Pavilion.
- Bell's Parade at Latrobe
PARKING AT BARNHAUS
Parking at the accommodation is free, with space for an additional car, campervan and/or caravan.
PARKING IN TOWN
Parking is free in most towns near to the accommodation (Latrobe, Sheffield, Ulverstone and Forth). However, Devonport does require paid parking. There is plenty of parking in these towns/city.

Hi, My names Kylie. My base, and home, is the picturesque region of Forth, located on the Central North Coast of Tasmania; Australia’s southernmost, island state. My day-time work is running eco, tiny house on wheels accommodation called Compass Hut, just outside of Forth and the coastal, port-city of Devonport.
