As pictured, this cozy cabin has a nice big bathroom, kitchen with sparkling clean appliances, kitchenware, glassware, etc. and a few kitchen essentials. The living room has comfy over-sized furniture as does the primary bedroom. Curtis is a sweet small town about an hour drive from Pictured Rocks and the ferry to get to Mackinac. Curtis itself only has two bar and grills, one being pretty much in the backyard of the cabin. The local ice cream spots and market have surprisingly good options! TV and internet worked well. Phone service was limited and sometimes went from 2 bars to zero. As others stated, the bar next door can be loud btw 9pm-2am due to live music and patrons outside, but still feels safe. Evolve has their own system outside of Air bnb that sent us random verification links, staff weren't very helpful in resolving and used canned responses. Overall, good place for a family or boys trip, not a gals weekend :)

Overall, our family was satisfied with our stay. The house was fairly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A few things to note: we have 3 kids and the bunk beds with sleeper sofa would have been a great fit. However, the sofa was very firm and when we went to pull out the sleeper portion, there was an m&m wrapper behind the cushion, obviously missed by the cleaning staff. Another significant thing is the "lake view". Yes you can see the lake from the deck once you look past the bars and people outside drinking. The noise didn't bother us at night since we had the AC on but I imagine it could get noisy some nights. Should be noted in the description. Finally, curtains in the kitchen would be nice. I felt uncomfortable being in there at night knowing people at the bars could look in at me. My family would probably stay again in the future if we're in the area but thought others should know what to expect.

We would definitely stay again! Loved the large entry/ mud room. It was a great space to unload, do laundry, and reorganize luggage.
