Convenient access to world class flight seeing tours at the nearby airport make this home a great base for air tourism in Denali Park to see "The Great One". A mere 5 min walk to airport (Talkeetna Air Taxi, K2 etc.) or Swiss Alaska Inn/Mahay's boat launch or approx. 15 min. walk to downtown Talkeetna shops, restaurants, rivers and activities. This home offers a homey neighborhood vibe and is set back from the street among mature trees creating a private oasis feel. Please respect the "hood" as if you were a Talkeetna resident and follow quiet hours both indoors/outdoors while on property. Ski/fat bike trails are also in the area for winter guests.

Driveway is long enough for two mid/large SUV vehicles and parking is off street in the driveway. There are several walking routes into town (one is a trail and then via road as car would drive)...see my posting in the cabin on that. Approx. 5 minutes walk to or from airport...15 minutes to walk into downtown, maybe 20 min. if you walk slow. The active train depot (at the start of Talkeetna) is too far to walk with any large luggage. There are some local shuttles that run in summer and I can help you figure out logistics if you ask ahead. No taxi's, Lyft or Uber. There is a bike rental during summer just 5 min walk away.
