What an amazing getaway!! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The boathouse is fantastic and and we enjoyed both fishing and swimming. The hosts were gracious by providing water toys and even jumped on the Sea-Doo to provide waves for the kids. The outdoor shower is private and we felt comfortable using it even with a mixed group. The entire home felt welcoming! The hosts are friendly and extremely accommodating. if you have a need and are curious If this will fit it simply ask them.

We loved our stay & Kim was an amazing host. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s in the past & this was by far our favorite. There was nothing we lacked or needed because Kim had it all & more. The fresh fruit & snacks were an added plus to our visit. We sure needed them after being on the lake all day. The dock was perfect for fishing at night. The gazebo on the porch was great to enjoy the nice thunderstorm from at night. The only drawback of our trip is we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back for a longer weekend. So much to do yet so relaxing. This place is 5 STARS!!!!Thank you Kim for sharing your place with my family.

This is IT, y’all: the authentic lakehouse you remember from childhood, the one you are searching for, the place you thought didn’t exist anymore, a time-capsule on the prettiest little spring-fed lake in all of East Texas, but immaculately clean, with all the amenities you could possibly need, and many other delightful surprises. The wifi/cell service is spotty, which turned out to be one of the best things about it. Even my teenager agreed. We went for 3 nights, and the stars aligned so that we stayed a week. As I sit here, back to reality, back to another steamy August in Houston, sipping my morning coffee, and struggling to write a short, simple review, that reflects my sincere, deep gratitude toward these two beautiful, generous hosts, I’m dreaming of going back, in time, to those magical childhood summers before the internet, before we all disconnected, from nature and each other, and getting back to “Some Kinda Lakehouse” and back into that healing holy water as soon as I can.

our stay was awesome the kids and elders enjoyed catching a plethora of fish...all species visited at the dock. the lodging itself was private and welcoming...kids loved the attic bedroom(and stayed there-lol)..the private outdoor shower was amazing, thinking everyone needs one of those. we"ll definitely be back soon.
