Tranquility and a clear, babbling brook to edge the far boundary of the riparian delights of a true English garden only begin your stay at the warmest and most wonderful place we’ve had the pleasure in staying. A pair of delightful geese will remind you to offer them a snack or two and, if you’re lucky, may tap on the kitchen door to remind you 😂 The roses in the front and back gardens are so beautiful and richly scented they transcend the late autumn weather and add to the charm of this lovely home. The real gem of this experience was our host, Valeria. This isn’t just a spare rental; this is her home. It is immaculate and very well stocked with top of the line products. She was staying about a block away and anything we needed was immediately addressed. High speed dedicated internet and a quiet location add to the delight of your stay. We had the pleasure of being here for an entire month. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!❤️

The house is situated in a beautiful area, the garden was stunning and the bus and train links into St Albans were perfect. Over all an amazing place to stay!

I am in love with this house! Amazing period property filled with character ( original floorboard, locks, fireplaces ). The river at the end of the garden was just a paradise. We found that beds and sofas are incredibly comfortable. Just so cozy and peaceful! Thank you very much for this opportunity to stay in your family home!
