Good place to stay! Very spacious and can easily fit a group or family trip. Just need a AWD vehicle to go to the uphill for the location.

Francisco and Kelly’s home was fantastic. We stayed here for Xmas with seven people and the house had absolutely everything we needed. The views are among the best in Anchorage and Francisco and Kelly were so helpful and responsive. 100% recommend to anyone visiting Anchorage.

The Alaska Mountain House is a short drive from downtown Anchorage and is surrounded by nature with elevated views. Alaska wildlife such as moose, bears, and lynx frequent the property and surrounding environment.
As you ascend to the Alaska Mountain House the last portion is on a gravel road that will take you to your private retreat supported by the amenities of a family home, that has been used a base for adventuring Southcentral Alaska and remote work.
