Die Villa war sehr schön am Meer gelegen. Der Blick vom Pool aufs Meer war atemberaubend. Der Garten wurde top gepflegt von den angestellten und unsere Haushälterin Iluh war das i Tüpfelchen der Unterkunft. Das Gelände reicht mit seinen 5 Schlafzimmern locker für einen grossen Familienaufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und entsprach dem was ich mir vorgestellt habe auf Bali. Leider hat die Zeit an der Villa ihre Spuren hinterlassen, diese zu Beseitigen wäre ein leichtes aber repariert wird nichts. Die Angestellten versuchen alles die Reparaturen so gut es geht zu flicken aber das klappt nur zu einem gewissen Teil. Es fehlen ein paar Fliessen im Pool. Die Bodenplatten zum Meer hin sind vom Salzwasser angegriffen. Ein Ventilator quietscht sehr laut. Es ist schade, dass die Villa sich selbst überlassen wurde, da es nämlich ein echtes Schmuckstück sein könnte. Alles in allem war es ein super schöner Aufenthalt und die Angestellten haben alle Mängel wieder raus gerissen!

Kubutambahan is about 12km east of Singaraja.
You can easily get to Kubutambahan area by car from all parts of Bali. Getting there by car with a driver is a much easier way to get to the North. You can travel from Kuta in 2,5 hours and from the airport or Sanur in about 3 hours, depending on the season and the traffic on the road.
You will travel through places such as Bedugul and could take the scenic route through Munduk if you are not in a hurry. So you could stop at a temple-like Pura Ulun Danu, twin lakes and rice paddies in Munduk on your trip and make a day of it. There are many places to stop along the way to take pictures or have a bite to eat and of course stop and feed the monkeys hanging by the mountain roads :).
