Fantastic villa with great staff included. Komang spoiled us very much with her dishes, preparing breakfast and dinners for us, where she bought local fruits and vegetables at the market. View to sea and the pool were amazing. Also the kids loved the place very much. Everything clean and working perfectly. Great if you want and seek privacy, as there is only one restaurant, walking 5 min left along the beach. Went there for a sunset drink. Having a driver is a must if you wanna get around. Count 3-4 hours from/to airport: recommended use the transfer day to see the island incl. e.g. Mt. Batur, Pura Ulun Danu Batur (2nd biggest temple in Bali, very pleasant to visit) and/or Ubud. Dolphin excursion from Lovina was ok (many boats chasing the dolphins), snorkeling in Menjangan was a highlight (rather quiet, saw turtles). Be sure to always carry enough cash, credit card usage still limited for e.g. excursions and entry fees.

I can't say enough about how amazing our stay at Villa Tadjo was! The moment Eddy, the driver pulled up, Kadek the house manager and Komang the housekeeper were there to greet us outside and help us get inside and had a very tasty and refreshing welcome drink ready. The house is immaculately kept and beautifully decorated and the amenities are all top of the line. Komang is an amazing cook, everything she made was unbelievably delicious! She was so helpful and attentive to anything we needed, I can't say enough great compliments about her. The extra touches such as the villa name of the towels and on the uniform shirts was very impressive! The A/C worked great and was very cool in the villa, which was very important to us, but the sea breeze outside coming through with the doors open is amazing as well. The owners were great at responding very quickly to any questions we had about the local area which was really nice. I would definitely recommend Villa Tadjo, 5-Star rating from us!

Tad and Jo’s place is a perfect piece of paradise. The view is the most calming and peaceful you could ever ask for. The staff are amazing! Super helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There aren’t really any local amenities which was fine as we didn’t plan to go anywhere for the 3 days we were there, but this is not a problem as the amazing Komang cooked us dinners and breakfasts. Jo also arranged for us to have massages on site twice. They were amazing and better than anything you would get at home. The sound of the ocean is so relaxing, everything you need is there and beautifully maintained and presented. Although it is a 3 hour car journey from the airport don’t be put off by this, it gives you the opportunity to drive through the most spectacular scenery and to get a sense of real Bali rather than Tourist Bali. We were sad to leave but we will definitely be back. Don’t tell too many people about this place otherwise we won’t ever be able to get availability!

Bonjour, Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cette villa ! La cuisinière qui est aussi l’agent d’entretien est très doué et bienveillante, la chauffeur eddi est chaleureux et il nous a fait découvrir des endroits incroyables ! La villa est spacieuse avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Je recommande vivement ! 😄🏝️

Tad&Jo‘s villa has been the perfect retreat for us. Rooms are big, beds comfy, pool great. There is not much you can do outside of the villa and it’s not touristy at all but this is exactly what we were after. What makes this place so beautiful though is the kind hearted wonderful housekeeper Komang. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are feeling at home and cares for you with doing your laundry and if wished cooking too. She is wonderful caring with kids too and will be dearly missed by us.
