This place was one of our absolute favorite Airbnb stays. The well-appointed kitchen met all of our cooking needs. Very good feel to the house – we really enjoyed the paintings and other art (all created by the owners). Lots of great books, music, good information about area activities and comfy places to hang out with beautiful views. We especially appreciated use of the kayak and paddleboard. We truly felt at home during our stay and the location was perfect for our outdoor explorations. We wanted to live there!

Some airbnb's are totally sterile and generic, and some feel like you're intruding on someone's personal space. This home strikes an amazing balance! It's so original and warm, but you still feel completely at home and comfortable like it's your own. There is tons of amazing original art including landscape paintings of the surrounding environment at all times of year. Plus there is a great stereo with a fantastic record and CD collection. We listened to vinyl non-stop and it gave the place an even cozier feel. The cooking supplies were extensive, so we were always able to prepare food with ease. The setting was quiet and beautiful. Great for friends hanging out for the week. I don't know if I'd recommend it for families with young kids as the shallow part of the lake has a lot of plant growth. Although it seems that the growth can be raked down with tools on the property (we just didn't try doing that ourselves). Otherwise a fantastic place!

Very cute home and very nicely decorated. They were really nice and came to help as soon as we needed it. The wifi was a little choppy so not ideal for working virtually, especially for meetings. The lake does have a lot of weed in it so it’s not a great swimming spot but it was still nice to kayak and paddle board in.
