Point Place is your centrally-located beach side get away on the Whitefish River just a kayak or boat ride from the bay. Located less than an hour from Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, and other popular Upper Peninsula attractions like Fayette State Park, and Kitch-iti-kipi, there is so much to see and explore. We've completely updated the property. It's the perfect spot for a couple’s retreat or small family vacation where you can relax and enjoy everything in nature.

Perfect location!
The house was beyond our expectations. Every corner was squeaky clean. The kitchen was well stocked including the extra surprises such as local coffee and chocolate. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and 1/2 were very comfortable/clean. The waterway/river that backs the house was protected from wind and heavy waves, perfectly family friendly. Loved kayaking anytime of the day. Morning coffee on the dock and star gazing with a lit firepit were precious experiences for us. Dawn was very communicative/responsive and had excellent restaurant recommendations. If I could give this property 6 star or more - I would.

Point Place is in a quiet wooded area. Many of the residents have lived in the area for generations. The neighbors are friendly and really enjoy the peace Garth Point has to offer.
