Welcome to Folly Ocean Breeze! This Oceanfront home, steps away from public beach access, features a new SALTWATER, HEATED POOL (May 2023) facing the beach and ocean. Due to the unique Sea Wall there is not direct beach access, but it is only one house away!! (see photos). Outside, the oceanfront pool area is a private oasis that will take your breath away. The shimmering waters of the heated pool invite you to take a refreshing dip or lounge on the sun-kissed deck, where comfortable chaise lounges and outdoor seating await. So whether you're enjoying a morning coffee, a sunset cocktail, or a starlit dinner, the ocean breeze and views of the Atlantic Ocean will transport you to complete relaxation. Truly mesmerizing. All rooms are elegantly decorated with exceptionally comfortable new interior and outside furniture. Enjoy a magnificent sunset over the marsh and intercostal waterway from the front porches. Walk out the front door, and the beach access is steps away. Just past the house next door! The living room and bedrooms are equipped with brand-new smart TVs. The two primary bedroom suites boast king-sized beds and ensuite private bathrooms with custom tiles. One suite is located off the living room on the main floor. The other primary bedroom suite is located upstairs, along with three more bedrooms. Two guest bedrooms feature King beds and share a Jack and Jill tiled bathroom. The fourth guest bedroom features two full and two twin beds with sweeping ocean views. Another full bath is located on the 1st floor. A propane gas grill, a ping pong table, and an outdoor shower are underneath the house. Walk up five steps, and the interior staircase has a chair lift. Located just a short 25-minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston, Folly Beach offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking only 0.5 miles away. The area is certain to have something for everyone... a beautiful beach, fishing, boating, historical sites, gardens, shopping, golf, kayaking, paddle boarding; the choices are limitless. Announcements Some welcomed news in 2024 is The City of Folly Beach will be re-nourishing our beach which is much needed! Although not confirmed by the city, work is expected to start around early March until mid-August 2024 and will be focused one block at a time. While we expect this to be a net positive to everyone (more sand and larger beaches), there is a small chance there will be construction on the beach and/or beach closures near this home. The city has not provided any further information on more precise dates, scheduling, or sequencing. But you can stay informed with the latest by visiting the City of Folly Beach's website. Notes During your stay, you will enjoy the following AMENITIES: Complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, standard coffee maker and Keurig machine, iron, ironing board, blow dryers, and all linens & towels (minus beach towels). Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, and a door code will be provided before your arrival date. Folly Beach has a noise ordinance starting at 10 PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. This is a non-smoking property. No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not permitted in properties unless specifically designated in writing as "pets considered" and approved by our office. Check-in time: 4PM; Check-out time: 10AM. A 50% payment is required at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% automatically charged to the card on file 30 days prior to your check-in date. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require a full payment at the time of booking. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property. POOL NOTICE: The pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee of $60.00/day (added to your reservation after booking) for October- May. If not requested at the time of booking, this option must be requested and paid for at least two days in advance. Pool heat can only be requested for the entire length of your stay. If you would like to add this option do so when making your reservation or contact us during office hours. No refunds will be given, including if weather conditions prevent your use of the pool. The pool heater thermostat will be set to 82-84 degrees F. MyOceanRental strives to ensure peace for all our guests, neighbors, and the community of Folly Beach. To comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license. Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable. The house itself is fine. We found hairs, dirt and a couple bugs under the comforters which makes me think they don’t wash them all each stay. Issues to beware of- 1. You cannot charge a golf cart and take a shower at the same time. The breaker can’t handle 2. Even though we paid for the pool to be heated, it was not done until half way through the second day. 3. The communication is the worst I’ve ever seen. While we were there, we had no hot water for 24 hours, which with 4 small kids is a disaster and no one could shower. Then we smell gas and turns out there is a gas leak. What a mess. The owner joked we should bathe in the pool. I had to spend hours coordinating between the rental company, the owner (Kathy), the plumber and the maintenance people because they couldn’t work together and no one could find Kathy. The plumber even said that Kathy told him to do the bare minimum, delaying getting hot water. We got only $250 back which is a joke. Do not recommend.
This was the perfect getaway location. Quiet area, beautiful view, and responsive hosts.

Beautiful space with mostly accurate pictures. There is no direct beach access with a 50% obstructed view of the beach by another house. But great area with amazing food a few miles down the road. Unfortunately no beach towels or other amenities like spare trash bags or paper towels included with the space. Not every bathroom had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner available. Washer and dryer was available to use, but bring your own detergent. Surprising surcharge for use of the heated pool even despite the fact that it did not get above 66 degrees, though to be fair our stay was in December.
