Unplug and relax with the whole family at this peaceful waterfront cottage. Sit by the tranquil pond as you enjoy your breakfast or watch the family play in the water on a hot summer afternoon. In the evening, gather around the fire pit to share s'mores and laugh together under the stars. “By Still Waters” is our family's pond cottage located in Warwick, Massachusetts, nestled on a dead end dirt road through the forest on the east side of a large pond. As you arrive you will approach a two car garage one side of which is available for guest to park. (Use garage door opener on wall inside). Other outside parking is available as well. (The other garage space has a ping pong table which guests can enjoy). There is plenty of parking on our property, please do not block our neighbors driveways. On the property you will find a screened in gazebo with a table and benches, an attached screened in porch with chairs (this is the main entrance), a deck with a table and chairs overlooking the pond, a sandy beachfront with a fire pit, and green space for outdoor activities. Out door wooden walkways are in need of updating (a project we will be working on). Thank you for your understanding and please use caution when walking there. Upon entering the cottage, you will find a "mud room" space with one of the full bathrooms and the laundry area (separate). From there you enter the ally kitchen open to the dining room with views of the pond. The main level of the home also includes two small bedrooms (each with a full bed), the second bathroom (in one of those bedrooms) and a living room. The newly furnished living room overlooking the pond is a comfortable space to hang out on rainy days or to take a break from the heat of the day. There are ceiling fans to help circulate the air. Ceilings are relatively low throughout the house. There is a air conditioning unit that is available for use in the open space, please be mindful and adjust as needed. There are no additional units in the bedrooms. Upstairs in the finished attic (with a lower ceiling) you will find 3 single beds. Please take note that the stairs are narrow and there is no door or gates.
