Settignano is a fabulous place to stay if you're visiting Florence, and don't get a nosebleed at the prospect of not being 5 mins walk from everything in the centre. Its arguably a much more authentic location to experience the real Tuscany. The apartment is absolutely in the centre of the village, with bars and restaurants on your doorstep and a bus stop to take you to the centre for €1.70. The countryside nearby is beautiful and well worth the 5/10 mins walk up the hill. The apartment is perfect for a couple (or single) and was clean and well appointed. Internet worked well and at this time of year (May) was a great temperature.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully equipped and charming holiday home. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque, and the host was incredibly helpful. Conveniently located near the number 10 bus route, I'm delighted that I chose this tranquil retreat over a room in the bustling city of Florence.

Absolutely gorgeous place! The hosts were amazing and responded quick to any question I had. The spot is a bit far from the city, but the bus runs often so its not hard to get back. Very cozy and had amazing views!!
