Beautiful hillside getaway half hour outside of Florence. Perfect Tuscan getaway

It is hard to put into words how perfect this property is. This was the best AirBNB experience I’ve ever had by far. The hosts truly thought of everything. Upon check in after a 25 hour travel day we were greeted by fresh flowers, bread, cold waters, and jam. Florence is easily accessible to the city by the 10 line bus, and you can easily purchase tickets on the bus app “at bus”. Taxis are available by scheduling ahead through apptaxi. The property is SO quiet and peaceful with the most beautiful views of the city. The hosts Claudia and Maria are both incredibly attentive and kind. Settignano has a few small shops and restaurants where you can get paninis, wine, pasta/sauce, etc. Bar Tres A was our daily stop, the owner Francesco was awesome! We can’t wait to return.

Claudia’s place was great for our family of 6 adults. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed spending relaxing time there in between our various activities. We enjoyed walking into town and eating at Cafe Desiderio for dinner multiple nights. Claudia’s place is convenient for a short drive into Florence, while also being a nice respite from the busyness of the city. Tess assisted us during our stay and was always quick to respond whenever we needed something. We would certainly recommend Claudia’s place!

We had a fabulous time in Claudia’s stunning villa. Settignano is beautiful - we could not get over how spectacular the views were. Claudia and Maria were so helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed every minute of our visit.

I loved this spot - beautifully decorated, views of Duomo from our bedroom window, a pool, figs on the trees outside, all of the amenities, and really gracious host who left us eggs, milk, cereal, butter, etc for our arrival- and 15-20 mins away from central Florence. Would do it again in a heartbeat!
