Very tidy and lovely house decorated with extremely good taste and equipped with everything you need. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a great time at Rena's place! The communication was super easy and quick, and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Rena was very helpful since the beginning, always available and very discreate. Her attention to our needs went far beyond expectations, she brought a surprise breakfast and a lovely cake on my wife's birthday. We would absolutely recommend staying there!

1. Future guests please note that the villa is split into 2- there are 3 bedrooms on the top floor with a king , queen and single bed . There is one bathroom on this level and a mezzanine with a sofa bed but it does not have privacy. There is another bathroom down stairs. The other two bedrooms are in a separate apartment underneath which can be reached by having to go outside down the garden steps. 2. The host states that there is a jacuzzi and a pool . The pool is not heated and is good for the summer but in October it is cold. The jacuzzi maybe very hot in the summer but is cold in October so please be aware of this. Also no children are allowed in the jacuzzi which is not stated in the details. Our children are classed as adults in air bnb but they were not allowed to use it. 3. The host has an office in the villa at garden level (next to the pool). When we were there she came in daily for between 2-6 hours. This means that the ‘whole’ property was not ours during our stay and so we did not have the privacy that was advertised. At the beginning of our stay she said that she would come in daily to feed the cats (if which there are 7), but it soon became apparent that she also stayed to work in the office. 4. Rena the host appears to be lovely initially, but we had booked the entire house for 7 of us. When we arrived, we were just given the upstairs with 3 bedrooms and the sofa bed. And the 2 bathrooms. She asked a favour of us to not lie on the sofa with our feet on it as” she had more guests coming on saturday and didn’t have time to clean it” . This was fine. We queried her on the fact that the photos were different and we had booked for 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms and we couldn’t understand where they were- she then reluctantly took us to the downstairs villa where she showed us the other rooms. She tried to get us to use only one of the rooms initially by closing the room with the en-suite. The best room for us was this particular room. In the late morning we were bought croissants and bread which did make up for the fact that there was no welcome pack and was very nice of her. There is no information about how the house operates which is fine as Rena greets you but it is good to have this to refer back to as you can’t take everything in initially especially after a long day of travelling. Eg. Where you empty the rubbish etc. We thought everything was fine but then we asked about the jacuzzi and we were then told that it was not for children and that it would be turned on for two hours a day. She would come and turn it on and off when we needed it. She wanted to know what time we would like it everyday but being on holiday, you don’t know when you want it so this was a let down. The “hot tub” as is described in air bnb is not hot, we booked the villa thinking we could swim in the cold pool but get warmed up in the hot tub. After that point, Rena messaged me with some very harsh messages which were not very nice. She said that we had asked for the hot tub to be put but didn’t use it- on purpose! We did ask her to put it on as she had said she would to see if would be ok for us but as it was still too cold, we didn’t use it. I did message her to say that we wouldn’t need it again. This elicited another very rude and unfair response. This is such a shame as it did affect our holiday and could so easily have been avoided with a little more information. . If we had known all this in the details we would not have booked the villa as the pool is an important part of our holiday. The villa is beautiful but for us the pool is an important part of our holiday especially with teenage boys !

The house is perfect for one or two families and the host, Rena, warmly welcomed us and gave us a lot of advices during our holidays. We were very happy to meet her, she is a very kind person.
