The cottage was beautiful and in an amazing location! It was so nice waking up next to the bridge and river. The cottage was right on the Mawddach Trail so you can easily walk alongside the river. The inside of the cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay.

Plus points - excellently equipped, comfy bed, sparkling clean, friendly folk who work in the toll booth really helpful - especially Gail who found us matches on a rainy afternoon. Downside - location is great but cars going by. Probably just as well all windows bar one are painted over so can’t be opened. Original pictures on here misleading; viewing deck is on the other side of the bridge. There’s no private outdoor space. Also I think when it was privately let, the owners left wine. Now there is much appreciated milk in the fridge. This charming cottage is actually managed through a company so mildly intrigued how they’re going to ‘review’ us. Not really original spirit of air bnb I fear.
